Florian Ortner works as a senior associate for our firm. Previously, after having graduated in Law from the University of Linz and in Business Administration from the University of Klagenfurt, he worked for more than 12 years at the international consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and subsequently for LeitnerLaw, the associated law firm of the renowned Austrian tax consulting firm LeitnerLeitner, for several years.
Areas of expertise
His practice focuses on tax risk management and criminal tax proceedings, whereby in the past he mainly advised companies from the banking, insurance and investment fund sectors and also has many years of experience in the area of taxation of capital assets. Furthermore, he regularly advises clients in the course of tax-related proceedings before the Federal Tax Court and the Supreme Courts.

Florian Ortner has published various articles and regularly holds seminars in his areas of expertise. He is a member of the Vienna Bar Association and the Austrian Chamber of certified tax advisors and accountants.
